An extraordinary fully-fitted solid ebony Anglo-Indian dressing box with concealed, fold-out mirror, Mid 19th Century. Ornate and filigree carved floral decoration on all sides. The top opens and folds back onto itself supporting the original mirror framed in sandalwood, ebony inlay. Removable interior tray, two removable compartments, sixteen additional compartments with additional storage underneath. Solid brass hardware gives this box an interesting contrast to the ebony. Working lock and key.
