Description
Pair of Louis XVI style white-painted armchairs / fauteuils (fauteuil à la reine), the oval padded back, armrests and bowed seat covered in an Aubusson fabric needlepoint depicting a large central lily and seat back in yellow gingham silk; with channelled frame and foliate cresting and apron, on turned tapering stop-fluted legs capped with floral medallions, re-painted. French circa 1880.
