A large-scale carved polychrome wooden horse with draped saddle bearing a dynamic prancing pose with upraised right forefoot. The horse is positioned on a rectangular plinth with a unique neighing stance; the expressive eyes are glass. A realistically carved & painted early 20th century horse in the style of the Tang dynasty horses; Chinese circa 1900.
