Copper banded oak barrel stool with leather top

height: 21 in. (53 cm), diameter: 14 in. (36 cm)
A smaller barrel of this kind would have been used as storage for small batch production of spirits, grains, or perhaps coal. The later padded leather & nailhead trim top suggests adaptation for seating, decorative use or table; possibly a pub stool.
