Description
A tall late-19th-century English joint stool with a rectangular single-board seat set above shaped aprons on all four sides. The stool stands on turned legs with block-form mid-sections, joined by shaped stretchers arranged in a square. The seat retains a well-worn surface with visible grain, early tool marks, and age-consistent wear. The legs show a dark surface with expected small abrasions.
