Description
Gilt bronze gueridon, the circular top and conforming lower tier inset with panels of black marble. The frieze cast with a band of ornament and fitted with eagle-head ring handles, raised on three downswept supports headed by grotesque masks and terminating in paw feet, joined by an incurved stretcher centered by a foliate rosette. French, circa 1880.
