Description
A Spanish low table in chestnut with rectangular single-slab top and a molded single drawer front, framed by recessed panels and fitted with a shaped wrought iron pendant pull mounted on a foliate backplate. The table rests on a trestle base with splayed square legs joined by forged iron X-form stretchers. The top displays typical working wear and surface marks. Traditional pegged construction with mortise and tenon joinery throughout. Iberian peninsula, circa 1800.
