Description
Specimen wood tea caddy having a large panel of tumbling block inlay, on all sides Van Dyke marquetry. Two lidded interior surrounded by boxwood edging, original paper underneath the lid. Working lock and key. The caddy rests upon four lion paw feet. English, circa 1820.
