Rosewood box with large-scale penwork and boxwood accents to all sides. Early Tunbridge inlays and a thin band of cross-cut kingwood surrounding five large geometric rosewood panels to the top. Original papered interior; woven fabric under the lid; boxwood veneer to inside edges. Working lock and key. Original papered bottom. On four silver ball feet.
